![]() ![]() Came across this deal too good to resist. I had been running the trial version for months with the nag banner. Registered my trial version just fine and was able to link to my email address within the software. Received license key within a few hours of purchase. Since the UniFi DVR records 24/7and overwrites after a few weeks I use Blue Iris as a companion to provide a nice Dashboard and record motion clips that last for months. The licensed version opened up additional options, automatic updates, and seems to perform a bit better. If it were $60 it would make sense to purchase a new license on sales like this.Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan Republic, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Cape Verde Islands, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland, France, Gabon Republic, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Malta, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Montserrat, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Croatia, Republic of the Congo, Romania, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saint Kitts-Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Vietnam, Wallis and Futuna, Western Samoa, Worldwide, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe ![]() Support/upgrades are $29.95 for a year after you have the license. Others find it an extreme value compared to other powerful NVR software on the market - which I can see and agree with. Eufy seems to have the best wireless camera on the market though for camera quality/resolution and battery life, but lags behind in the motion detection space.Īs noted above, for BI - after a year, you have to pay another $60 to access support/upgrades, which, if I'm providing the hardware and infrastructure and equipment, was a bit rich for what I was getting given I just wanted motion alerts essentially. The Eufy gets many events just from wind, for example. That said, I find the Ring cameras, although much worse camera quality, much better at detecting and filtering out false positives in motion. However, I opted to use Eufy's app and move away from BI. You can setup BI to be an RTSP endpoint of the Eufy camera. Inflation.ĭid you use BI to control Eufy? If not, how's the Eufy's software? But you are locked into that brand's cameras if you upgrade, you're forced into their UI, and you don't get the same feature-rich set that Blue Iris provides for more customizable motion detection and avoiding false alerts. Product information here, including the direct BI 5 download link (then you apply the license).Īlternately, you would buy a bundle deal with a specific brand's NVR (recorder) and cameras.
